Important: Because safety is our primary concern, a parent, caregiver, or adult must remain present to monitor their loved one with Down syndrome during the dance celebration. (This is not a drop-off activity.)
*Did you know? Wearing mismatched socks was a campaign started by Down Syndrome International to encourage people to start conversations about diversity, uniqueness, inclusion and acceptance. Socks have been used as a symbol because chromosomes are shaped like socks and people with Down syndrome are born with an extra one.
